My name is Melodie Jones Wright. Numbers and the patterns in them have always been a passion for me. These systems systems without a conscience influence so much of our lives and the desire to break them down and break them down to be comprehensible for others has been a pleasure for me. I have been in the accounting field for over a decade. Within my job, I was solely responsible for bookkeeping and cash management for multiple newsstands and food & beverage locations. I coordinated with armored carriers and vendors alike. I gained loss prevention experience researching shortages using video and paperwork. I attended to George Mason University for my bachelor’s in business management. In the years following my graduation, I saw the opportunity to help more individuals understand what I have learned in business school by obtaining more education. I earned a certificate at Northern Virginia Community College for accounting. Armed with more education, I studied on my own and earned my CPA in only 8 months after graduation. These are just the first steps toward my plans in business and accounting.

I created MJW Accounting Services, LLC, a firm where I plan to bring my self-initiative and drive from my personal studies to my new business ventures as an example to my clients, colleagues, and community of what is possible.
